Dan Maki, MA, LMFT Dan completed a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at Bethel College (University) in St. Paul, MN and received additional training in Marriage & Family Therapy from the Alfred Adler Graduate School in Minneapolis, MN. He is a Minnesota State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#1183).
Dan works with people aged throughout the lifespan providing individual, couples and family therapy. He has considerable experience in providing intensive in-home family therapy interventions with adolescents facing significant behavioral challenges. He has also worked with adults to address numerous mental health concerns. Dan has a particular passion for working with adolescents and adults that are facing issues of sexuality and gender identity. In addition to providing therapy services, Dan provides clinical supervision to mental health practitioners and therapists-in-training.
Dan believes in addressing peoples concerns by exploring the past while taking action in the present. He strives to assist people in finding balance between the meeting the demands of this life and attaining peace and fulfillment. He believes that all people have the ability to improve their lives and encourages his clients to express themselves using the talents they possess, while expanding their range of healthy communication, coping and achievement.
Dan sees clients in-home as
well as in the FACTS Eagan office and in
Uptown Minneapolis.
